Happy New Year Everyone!
Here it is January 2nd and we are now into the 4th week of the challenge. Most of us have not kept with the training program and that is fine what is important is to keep exercising. This is what I'm telling myself to try to motivate myself to run three miles today. The truth is it is 1:26 pm in the afternoon I am sitting up on my bed with the tv on and trying to take the steps of finding a job. The technology is amazing where we really don't need to leave my bed just keep posing my resume writing letters and getting more depressed by the minute.
Well I'm sure each of you have made resolutions and if I don't post mine I will probably not stick to it. So here goes:
1) find a job
2) find my religion
3) find something I'm passionate about
4) exercise
5) I will be seeing Europe for the first time in my life.
6) expand my horizons with people (need to make new friends)
Definitely not exciting but it is areas I need working on.
Last night I was lucky enough to go out to dinner with both of my kids. I can't tell you the last time the three of us have been alone and having dinner together. Mom we went to Chevy's bar. Teece, you remember that is where John won the Chili contest. What was even more amazing is that Nick paid for the dinner. Wow! Thank you Nick. Neither were impressed with my resolutions to say the least; other then getting a job.
I still want to address the meeting of the four of us. I know things need to settle for Teece and Jimbo you won't be happy with this but if Teece goes to Florida it will be with her family. It won't be a sister trip. I would really like to see the Wulff girls get together in 2007.
Well here is to love, laughter and happiness for all of us in 2007.
Love you all,
deb

Week 3 Day 6
Hello Fam and Happy New Year!
I still have not committed to my life changes for 2007. But I am narrowing down the possibilities. Where has the year gone? I feel lucky because I have had the opportunity to spend time with each of you during 2006. Hopefully we can all be together in 2007. That brings me to a very important point; Lynn and I have both brought up the sister get together, now it is time for the two younger sisters to commit to a time and a place.
Today I ran 3 miles continuously on the road. Yeah me! Now I can't move my bod but I feel I am committed to the training challenge. It is not easy to keep to the training program.
Lynn, congratulations on the new laptop, how exciting. Nick and I purchased a computer program for the Ipod that allows you to transfer music from your Ipod to computer. It was only about $10. What would be great if you purchased the program is the opportunity to transfer all of your kids music from their Ipods to your computer. Sure would give you a large music library. Without having to buy all that music. I bought the program from Circuit City.
Well I'm meeting some friends for dinner.
Lynn, thanks for sending the Christmas pictures.
Love you all, deb

Week 3 Day 3
Hello and I hope you all have recovered from Christmas!
Having spoken with all of you I know each one of us enjoyed the holiday in our own special way. Now it's time to move on to the new year, for me this is a week of reflection and deciding what changes I need to make in my life. Obviously, besides finding a new job, I need to decide what personal changes I should try to make. I think the challenge wether we decide to run the race or not offers some structure for me to continue to workout. It is difficult to make yourself do the workout but it also adds the guilt factor in which is probably necessary for me. After sitting around for two days yesterday I ran (and a little walking), about 2 1/2 miles. Now did this justify the popcorn, milkduds and fish taco I had afterwards? Most likely not, but I can't go to a movie without the popcorn and candy. I saw Dream Girls what a fabulous movie. People actually appaluded after the movie.
Lynn how is the boob? Teece, I'm so sorry you are not enjoying your family vacation; make sure you stay safe in Tacoma. J, Hang in there with work the holidays will be over soon.
Mom, thanks for the recommendation of Harlan Coben, I love his humor.
Noone has sent me any pictures so you have to put up with what I can find.

Week 2 Day 6/day Before Christmas Eve
Merry Christmas,
I think this is the hardest time of the year not to be close to each other. There are so many thoughts, feelings, emotions and moments I would love to be sharing with you. We are lucky because Teece sent pictures of Cierra in her official cheerleader outfit. She is so adorable and I don't think Teece stands a chance of her playing socker. She looks like a pop warner cheerleader to me.
Lynn how's the boob? Jay and mom I hope you are feeling better. Teece good luck with your dinner tomorrow night.
Love ya all and Merry Christmas1

Week 2 Day 5
I wish you a Merry Christmas!
Hello everyone yesterday I was a mad woman getting the house ready, cooking, baking and etc., for my dinner party last night. I made a chilli which was delicious and what I was most proud of was the martini's which I made with the help of a professional coach (Jake). The night turned out to be alot of fun.
Regarding the challenge I am proud to say that I ran my 2 miles on the treadmill this morning. So I am on target for the first week's schedule.
More importantly I'm on target with the Christmas shopping. I only have a couple of gifts left to buy. This afternoon I'm meeting Megan (mom knows the story) for her first beer in 6 months. She is a little more excited then I am. We are suppose to ride the bikes at the beach but it is raining today.
I just finished Back Bay by William Martin. Lynn let me take it when I left Boston. Interesting author different then most mysteries but a great historical setting of Boston. I did like it; the book moves back and forth through the generations of a founding family.
Well I need to get a move on. I voted Melissa's Christmas card as the best of the year. Comment level is dropping hopefully it's due to the business of the year. I spoke with Teece this morning and she mentioned Cierra received her cheerleader outfit; can't wait to see the pictures.
Enjoy the holiday,

Week 2 Day 2
Hello Everyone, Hopefully this message will be posted we seem to be having problems with our internet connection. Yesterday was a big day for me; I actually bought presents for my kids. It was quite the experience competing for parking places; finding out nothing is in stock, I stayed the course and was successful. I also completed my first day of the workout challenge. Hopefully Lynn with her illnesses will be right behind me. By the way Lynn's boob looked good on her ultrasound. We are all anxious to hear what her doctor has to say this afternoon. I am having the girls over on Thursday night for our Christmas get together so I'm off to find appetizers. Teece, I heard Cierra got her pom-poms let us know when she opens her other package. That present is from Nana, Lynn & Tim and deb. Would you mind forwarding some pictures of the kids so I can post? It would be great if the pics could be with the presents we sent. That way we can all see what we sent. Merry Christmas to all, deb

Day 7
Yeah, first week completed of the challenge and I have not had one workout as of yet! I am quite excited because I had the energy to shower, dress and go to mass. I did hit a couple of electronic stores to try and get some ideas for Christmas gifts for my kids. Still have not bought one single gift and as of now I am back on the couch. Tomorrow will hopefully be my first workout day of the challenge and shopping.
Lynn, I'm so sorry you had to go to the hospital this morning. What the heck is going on with you? Besides the sympathy symptoms you certainly into the wierd illnesses. I checked out the camera you purchased and it is quite the beauty. I'm very jealous.
OK, J and Teece Lynn and I both have mentioned a get together and neither of you have commented.......... Let's start thinking about our next meeting so we can begin to plan.
J, thanks for the pic's.
Enjoy this time of the season.

Day 5
Good Morning,
I want you all to notice the posting site below each day entries. It might be good to Post at the bottom of the day's site so we can all keep up with the comments and not have to scroll through three months of comments. Just a suggestion.
Teece as of now I have put zero time into training. My head is still ready to explode and even with drugs I can't control the nose drool. Yikes, today is the day to start for me. I would be interested in how much time training is taking all of you.
Lynn hope you are feeling better, and Jamie I hope your sore throat is a fluke.
Did any of you check the google pedometer website? It's really cool and I have found several different paths for training runs.
On a different note I still have not bought one present yet. I need to get on the ball.
Merry Christmas and I love you all, deb

Cool Information
I checked out Jeff's blog and he has some cool information. Google had a website called google map pedometer www.webwalking.com/googlemap.htm
and it will map a route for you whereever you are. So if any of us need a new route or travel this is the place to go.
I decided tomorrow I will begin my training. Wish me luck.

Day 4 of the Challenge
Well hello everyone, I'm glad to see that some of you are using this blog. Let's start thinking about Lynn's suggestion about scheduling the next Wulff girls adventure. I think a resort is a great idea (lay at the pool and a few spa treatments), it might be best to go somewhere where it is a Delta hub so it would be easy for Teece to get there.
Now regarding the challenge I could be in trouble. So far I have not exercised or walked yet. Thanks to Lynn I have a terrible cold and my head is ready to explode. I thought I might get to it this afternoon but a nap sounds even better. I will make myself do the assignment. I promise.
Teece, please let us know when your kids get their packages. I think we are all excited for them to open them and hoping it is something they wanted.
After spending the day in bed and sleeping yesterday I finally moved my ass and the kids and I got the tree. I think this is the latest we have ever put the tree up. As of now all decorations are up and all I need to do is start buying a few gifts.
Mom, they came to rip out and redo my floors this morning but as usal a slight problem they ordered the wrong bullnose. I'm waiting to hear when they will be back.
I love you all and wish we could be together for the holidays. Enjoy each day.

Day 2
Lynn and I completed the weights and stretch routines and just made the workout around 12:00 am east coast time. Hopefully we will get to the run/walk training tomorrow. Lynn is sick and I leave to go home. It's been fun being in Boston and seeing all of the babies, kids and dogs.
I posted the newspaper link for the training in case anyone loses the training pages and Lynn found a blog for someone who is training for the run.
Please post pictures, links and etc.
Well enjoy your day, deb

Start The Challenge

Good Morning Sisters,
Today's the first day of our 12 week training program and I am looking forward to the challenge. I'm here at Lynn's who is frustrating on her computer; Tim is watching Lethal Weapon 2 with the mute on; and mom is sitting next to me drinking her coffee. It's raining and will take a some real motivation to stretch and do a few lifting exercises. I'm going to try and post the days's training requirements (I have to see if I'm up to the technical challenge).
Well, I hope blogging will be a fun experience for all of us. We should be able to motivate each other, share experiences and pictures with one another.
Love you all, deb
Mom wants to post a her comments so here goes:
This sounds like a great challenge. It's almost like being together but not as good. it's a good substitute. I am proud of all of you. Good luck.
